Dvir is a reserve lieutenant colonel of the Israeli Navy SEALS, following 25 years of service as an officer in various special operations in combat and intelligence positions. In his last ten years of service, Dvir led and controlled special operations and cyber operations with unit 8200, bringing a lot of operational experience and capabilities in managing complex situations. Dvir holds an M.A. in Political science and national security and a B.A. in Business and Information Systems management.
